Spoke too Soon

Earlier today, I joyfully reported that I was FINALLY going to be back to work next week on Monday or Tuesday as a contract attorney.  Just a few hours later, I got a phone call saying that the project on which I was supposed to be assisting is being "reevaluated" and may not start next week, after all.  So, I guess I am back in the unemployment line again.

The good news is that while I am free to take on other projects that come up beforehand, I am guaranteed a spot on that project if I want it when it starts, which is a slightly better position than I was in at the beginning of the day.  And it will give me time to get working on this week's cloth diaper giveaways list since the weekend is going to be a busy one!
